Guys, Gilmore Girls is coming back to television (well, to Netflix) on Friday, November 25th, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Despite the not-that-funny trailer and the stilted promo shots, I'll always be grateful for the opportunity to take another trip back to Stars Hollow. But I'm not just excited to revisit the firecracker banter of Lorelai and Rory or see how Emily's holding up with the passing of Richard. At long last, I'll be reunited with my culinary spirit animal, the maniacally obsessive chef of the Dragonfly Inn (and Lorelai's BFF), Sookie St. James.

Because even though Sookie is technically a chef, she has far more in common with avid home cooks. Home cooks whose love and devotion to cooking can drive them to the heights of culinary achievement, or the depths of sheer ridiculousness—and sometimes both at the same time. Are you a Sookie in the kitchen? There's only one way to find out. Check to see if you display any of these nine signs of a dangerously obsessed home cook.
