Bell Pepper
Chipotle-Glazed Chicken Breast and Grilled Chopped Veggie Salad
Chipotle in adobo sauce can be found in both small and large cans. They are smoked dried jalapeño peppers that are packed with flavor! In the can, they are soft and packed in vinegar and spices. If heat is not your thing, then use half of one chipotle pepper. The remainder of the chipotles can be frozen in a resealable plastic bag for other uses such as adding a smoky, spicy flavor to soups and stews or shaking up and waking up your everyday guacamole.
Sausage Patty Melt
Instead of two slices of bread and one patty, this lower-carb patty melt has two patties sandwiching cheese, peppers, and onions. Skip lunch. This one’s a gut-buster!
Mini Cheeseburger Salad with Yellow Mustard Vinaigrette
There are many flavors of sharp Cheddar out in today’s markets to choose from, so go plain or go wild! Among the choices out there in sharp Cheddars: five-peppercorn, smoked, dill, garlic and herb, roasted garlic, horseradish, chipotle, habanero, jalapeño—on and on!
Draggers
I use this recipe (more like a method, really) as a standard party offering, and it’s one of my all-time favorite snackers. I eat mine with flatbread, but it’s good to spread these combinations on sliced seedless cucumbers, too.
Spicy Sausage Meatloaf Patties with Italian Barbecue Sauce
When I made my annual Christmas Pasta for the holiday this year we discovered that both my mom and I had shopped for the ingredients, so we had lots of leftover hot and sweet sausage and ground beef in the fridge. The next day, this recipe was born.
Ginger Chicken and Sweet-Salty Noodles with Veggies
Sweet and salty food . . . I can eat it at the same time? I’m there. How about you?
Turkey Sausage Burgers with Peppers and Onions
When they’re made with 99 percent lean ground turkey breast, these burgers are a figure-friendly way to enjoy a sausage sandwich.

Make your own take-out. When you MYOTO, you control the salt, fat, and quality of ingredients. This dish is not only healthful, but you also don’t have to make any decisions like whether you want chicken or pork. This recipe has got everything in it but the kitchen sink.
Chicken Sausage, Pepper, and Onion Subs
I’m famous for my sausage sandwiches . . . my homemade relish is the secret that makes them great. Double the relish recipe and use it on any Italian cold cut sandwich. Either traditional Italian sweet or hot pork sausage will work fine in this.
Provençal Vegetable Stew
I loved and still miss Julia Child. She consumed life as robustly as she did a good, crispy skinned chicken. If I had ever had her over for lunch, I would have made her this simple stew.
