Ingredients: 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for frying; 1 yellow onion, minced; 2 cloves garlic, minced; 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and diced; 2 tablespoons ground coriander; 2 tablespoons ground cumin; 2 tablespoons dried mint; 1 teaspoon ground turmeric; 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper; 2 cups cooked chickpeas; 2 teaspoons salt; 1 egg, lightly beaten; 1 cup bread crumbs
