Grilling lemons brings out their aroma and natural sweetness. Squeeze their juice into a riff on a classic shandy to add a roasty complexity to the super refreshing cocktail.
Note:
Note: To make simple syrup: In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water over moderately high heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool slightly. Measure out 1/2 cup for this recipe and reserve the rest for another use.
