Yield: makes about 6 1/2 dozen
Ingredients: 3 cups all-purpose flour; 2 teaspoons baking powder; 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt; 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature; 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon granulated sugar; 3 large eggs; 1 teaspoon vanilla extract; 2 tablespoons orange juice; 2 tablespoons lemon juice; 1 tablespoon orange zest; 2 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar, or as needed; 1/4 cup orange juice, or as needed

These traditional Italian cookies are as easy as it gets, and everybody loves them. The citrus flavoring renders them inviting, and most likely you have had them at Italian family celebrations such as weddings, confirmations, and baptisms. Not too sweet, these cookies will keep for a week or two in a cookie container.
